The Muslim Educational Society
The Muslim Educational Society (MES) was founded in Calicut in 1964 under the dynamic leadership of the late Dr. P.K. Abdul Gafoor. What began as a modest educational initiative has grown into one of the largest educational organizations in the country, managing more than 150 institutions across India.
MES operates medical colleges, engineering colleges, arts and science colleges, technical training centers, and schools. We cater to the educational aspirations of all segments of society, with a particular focus on empowering backward and rural communities through professional and technical skills development.
Our ITI campus in Mundur, Palakkad carries forward this rich heritage, keeping vocational training affordable, accessible, and high-quality.
A Legacy of Technical Excellence
M.E.S Private ITI has been established in the year of 1978, located by the side of Palakkad–Cherpulassery bus route about 15 Kms from Palakkad, situated on a 3 acres plot. The total plinth area of the building is 1876 m². The main building is three storied and the silver jubilee building is two storied, with well equipped practical workshops also provided.
It is a well known institute engaged in providing various technical courses like Draughtsman (Civil), Electronic Mechanic, Electrician, Automobile Engineering and Plumber. The main reason behind providing these courses is to enhance the skills of the candidates so that they can earn their livelihood independently. Our aim is to polish the skills of individuals and make them capable enough to grab better job opportunities.
